Fieldwork: Philine Schiller Shucks Oysters in Maine

In late June, Philine Schiller spent a week in Maine for some preliminary fieldwork, visiting Adam Campbell of North Haven Oyster Company on North Haven Island, as well as the Maine Oyster Festival in Freeport, and the city of Portland for both archival work and the high quality seafood restaurant scene.
