Fieldwork: Penelope in the silently loud Arctic

Between September and November, Penelope travelled across Norway north to south, west to east, searching for sea urchins and their traces, collecting documents, taking photos, and asking for whom they are a food, and why, for whom they are not a food, and why, and what they mean ecologically and culturally in Norwegian waters. Still, the question remains: Which was louder—the absence or the presence of these spikes?
